wasn't a super big fan of the theme at first, but then i was like "i want to make a rhythm game, so i'll make one and slap something related to the theme later" and so i did that
For my submission I'm making a game that is a reverse boss battle
You're playing as the big guy with the sword, and you mission is to defeat the "player" as many times as possible before they inevidently defeat you (which they will, eventually)
Every time you kill the player they return levelled up and also learn new things like dodging and jumping, and your movements are relatively slow and easy to predict, and your moves become more powerful when your health decreases
I think I'm going to work on things like a boss intro cutscene and music next, the main gameplay is pretty much finished at this point
There we go, my reverse boss battle platformer is finished! (hopefully it works please god let it work properly)

progress on my submission so far, the main premise is that you play as a vtuber named Citri Pomelo, who is playing another game and your goal is to keep chat entertained every 10 seconds otherwise viewers start to leave your stream

In Noirwood, you collect relics and avoid the monster that is trying to kill you, and your goal is to do that while also keeping chat entertained

I caved in and decided to go with a farming game, my original idea was a bit too complicated and I didn't really want to stretch the theme so I opted to go with something a little more simple
Basically you kill the infected and harvest their blood, and then use the blood to water your plants and then harvest them
