My LD38 post-mortem
Finally I have some time to write down my thoughts about my participation in LD38 in this short post-mortem. First of all, this text is related to my Jam game “Saviour” and you can check it out here:

Starting the Jam
This was my third LudumDare and I was looking forward to this event. I really liked the selected theme (I voted it with a +1) and as soon as I woke up on Saturday morning I started to think on the possible ideas for the game fitting that theme.
That was by far the worst moment for me as I didn’t find a good (i.e. fun and enjoyable) idea for my game and I was about to not participate in this event. To solve this lack of ideas, I opened the Unity editor and placed a sphere in the middle of the game scene (I wanted the game to be related to a small planet, so… I think it was a good way to start) and after a couple of hours thinking and making some sketches on paper an idea came to my mind…
Let’s make an arcade shooter!
I finally chose this game genre because it fits into the three requirements that I had for my Jam game, namely: * It’s relatively easy to implement. * Allows the player to play multiple shorts games in order to improve it score. * It was fun!
I managed to finish the core of the programming before going to sleep on Sunday and I left the remaining details for Monday afternoon (I had to work in the morning T_T). I'm really happy with the final result!
Differences between this jam and the previous LD
For me, the best thing of this LD is that I managed to organize correctly all the work and the time that I was going to take to do everything, from the starting sphere to the final game. Thanks to that I kept calm throughout the weekend (the previous LD were stressful for me due to my lack of experience), and that made me work in a more efficient way! :)
What do I expect from the next LD?
As I entered my three LDs as a one-man team… I want to find some people to collaborate and participate as a team!

And that's all! I hope you enjoy the game and any comments about it will be appreciated!
