Fluffy butts, floppy ears

We got sheep! Teeny fluffer butt sprites running around the screen, programmers have herding behavior…should have some screenshots this afternoon. Time for dog animations!

They do move in herds.
The sheep are sheeping everywhere, and we’re still on target to jam the rest of Sheep Shift out! Uh…also our dog won’t move backwards.

So, we still don’t have a title…oops. But that’s okay, as it’s coming along fine and dandy. Our other programmer was out for part of yesterday, but he’s returned and I personally find it refreshing to have two people touching the code again. Anyway, we added a mechanic where the enemy ships destroy temples (initially they were forts, but our artist realized that that didn’t fit the “Ancient Greece” theme we had going on and suggested we turn them into temples instead) and your job is to protect those templess with your beam cannon created from lenses and mirrors reflecting sunlight (or what we are assuming is sunlight being directed in from outside of the screen). If the forts are destroyed, game over.
We’re still working on things, but it’s starting to shape into a game, which is always a nice feeling.
