LD26

I’m In!

A-hey!

I’m a little boy: almost fourteen, if I remember correctly.  I’ve been interested in computer programming since I was a toddler.  I started getting into it about five years ago, with Game Maker.  I stepping-stoned from there to Multimedia Fusion 2, Dark Basic, and now Python.

I’ve decided that, to test my programming skills, I’m going to try the Ludum Dare.  I’m probably going to fall flat on my face, but maybe I’ll learn something along the way.

I’m going to be using Python. I’ve decided LibTCOD will be my library in order to hone my ability to adapt to a new programming environment quickly.  I do know a bit about it, but it’s definitely not my native cup of tea.  It will be a challenge.

Trusty ‘ol Notepad++ will be my IDE.  <3

Good luck to you all!  I’m super pumped to be part of LD26.  And if you think LibTCOD is a toy, then you’ve never seen TreeBurn.

Welcome and good luck!

I’m out.

It just didn’t come together for me.  Level generation was too complex, I got a cold, and my library gave up on me halfway through.  Sorry, guys.  :(  See you next MiniLD.
