Or at least have both categories to rate on games.
The great majority of games you play while rating don't really seek humor as a design goal, but a lot of games do try to showcase some impressive tech they built over a weekend. Cool particle systems, custom engines, using a quirky and unique programming language, complex simulation systems, etc.
I would love to be able to compete in tech myself.
This focus on a category that almost no game apply to, and is opted in by default, causes the average humor rating to be really low, and I believe that single category sticking out as a 1/5 in an otherwise well rated game to probably affect their "overall" rating.
Also you see people rating on everything but humor, making the ratings counter to go up in fractions and not units, this making receiving the required 20 ratings unnecessarily harder.
