Ludum Dare 47

First Entry

Hi everyone!! My name is Lorenzo, I am an italian guy, I am 16 and I have been coding for about 2 years, I've never faced up to game dev, I only did some prototypes, mainly in Python (I know it's not the best game dev language, but I don't feel very comfortable with other languages...), I also never used game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine. This is my first game jam and I am attempting it with some friends that also are like me in terms of coding. Do you have any advice for me? P.S.: Sorry for the bad english, I am not very good at it馃槄

SO EXCITED!!

Hi everyone! I am soooo excited about this, I cant wait anymore! As I said, I won't use any engine and I will work as a team of 3 people. I have a lot of ideas about the themes, better if I do a little of brainstorming

Tired, But Satisfied

I've just submitted my jam entry, these days were full of very intensive work! Me and my crewmate didn't work for too much time because of school and other personal things. I am very happy about the result, expecially because it's my first game jam! Thanks to everyone that gave me advices before the jam, they were very helpful! Finally, make sure to check and rate my game!!! https://verga.itch.io/magic-rush Schermata 2020-10-05 alle 21.41.29.png

MAGIC RUSH

Please rate my game!! Available on https://verga.itch.io/magic-rush Schermata 2020-10-05 alle 21.39.22.png Note: make sure you have a python interpreter and the pygame lib installed ("pip install pygame" from the command prompt)

Check my game!

hey guys! Please check my game if you haven't done yet. Me and my teammate coded it in python and weren't able to compile it via py2exe, so you'll need python3.* and pygame1.9 to make it work. I know it's a big limitation for my game, but please if you installed python and pygame check it out! I'll leave a screenshot right under. screenshot.png PS: it's my first game jam, I had a lot of troubles... https://verga.itch.io/magic-rush
