I’m in! (I hope)

Ludum Dare starts in 6 days 10 hours, which is 9 AM for me. I’ll have class by then, so I’ll be late. I really hope I can still catch up and join.

Code: Haxe + OpenFL + HaxeFlixel

GFX: Photoshop

SFX/Music: sfxr and autotracker

Had my practice with Haxe (and Game Maker in my earlier days), but I haven’t prepared any libraries of my own or anything. I’m just hoping I can produce something [decent].

Wish me luck for my first Ludum Dare!

Progress!

Okay, so… progress!  My game’s going to be about you being a zombie that lives (un-lives?) for only 10 seconds unless you eat someone else. In the event that you die, you simply swap out to another zombie. I’ve already got that working!

In other news, meh, that is one ugly background. haha

Any comments on how I could improve the background would be much appreciated!

In 10 seconds, you die! Permanently this time! BWAHAHA!

I think I did a better job in the current background.

Already added an “attack” animation of some sort (which you should see in the GIF). You can also see the y-sort at work. Basic collision implemented, too. Now I have to just have to be able to make your zombie break down doors. Speaking of which…
