Building out some sprites before I actually start coding the game. It's a bold strategy, we'll see if it works out.

Still no gameplay, but hey! Maybe I'll make some of these items do something lol

This time, with Friday booked off of work so I can spend the day relaxing and theory crafting for the different themes 😈

In previous years I've sometimes picked a certain thing I'd like to get into my Ludum Dare game no matter the theme so that I learn something, like saving/loading, procedural generation.. I think for this year I'm going to aim to have a nice colour palette and work on the art a little more.

I've just started working on my game this evening! I'm making a fishing tycoon game where you play as a penguin!!

I'm a little behind schedule, but I've got a lil inventory system in, and the movement for the character is now complete!

Now to turn this project into a game! lol!

I've released a couple of bugfix versions for my entry, "Snow Flipper" - a fishing tycoon where you play as a penguin!

The game's tooltips now actually reflect the correct pricing for items, and the RNG has been adjusted to be closer to what I'd intended at first.

Fishing in the browser? It's more possible that you think!

There’s a game that I played the other day (started as a game where you squish viruses with your finger in a lab and then had a fun twist with cutaway interviews which I don’t want to spoil) I think it was maybe called Tiny Flask? I wanted to find it again but I can’t seem to find a way to search a game by name or find the ones I’ve commented on/rated.

Is there any way to do this? 🥺 or does anyone know the game?
