Finally!

I'm so happy to publish our first Godot game in this Ludum Dare 54, it's not the most complex game here, but we're pretty proud of it, considering we were trying Godot blindly and learning GDScript on the go. I'm amazed how friendly is the learning curve of Godot, its scripting is pretty much like Python and the IDE, well, reminds me of Unity, but way less overwhelming.

The team is tired, and tomorrow is business day, so we won't be working on the game for the rest of the Jam. About the future work? we have some ideas, but I won't promise anything

As for the name of the game... I couldn't convince the team to chose a better name ;(

We just released our game for this jam, Mixed//Signals! Play it on the web browser

This year, each of us created different microgames, which is why there are different styles and interpretations of what constitutes a signal. This allowed us to take this jam a bit more relaxed than usual and have more creative freedom.

I hope you enjoy it and let us know you highest scores!

First post-jam update!

Hello! MajoMirez here, I made the runner minigame in our LD entry, Mixed//Signals. Thanks to your feedback I was able to remake some stuff in the runner minigame (it's still a WIP, I might need to adjust some parameters...). I made it simpler in concordance with the fast pacing of the game, I also had time to remake some sprites now with Clip Studio Paint, now the cat is easier to spot (now it kinda looks like a dog..?)

You can play the updated version in Itch.io, while I'll keep the Jam version in the LD platform.

Fun fact! the cat was light blue because originally I wanted to implement a "fake signal" cat in higher levels that looked like a bright red devil. I dropped the idea because of time, and thank goodness I didn't implement this! The minigame was already obscure as it already was!

Old and new sprites comparison: Untitled2.png See? the old cat sprite had a little halo over its head 0:3

Thanks again for all the feedback, and if you replay our game, let us know your opinions!
