Seriously, what if snek.

Hard to say...

The current version of our entry is the version we made for the jam, warts and all:

However, we've cleaned some things up. Made the physics less floaty. Added a better UI. And since then, @wraithind and I have been working hard on trying to take our entry and turn it into a tiny Metroidvania, a Microvania if you will.
Last couple of days, I added color palettes.

Tomorrow morning, after the jam, I intend to clean up our working project to make it just the bits that were in the jam, but with the better UI and physics, and upload that. And then onward, to release Get in ma Blunderbuss DX on Steam in a couple of months. I don't expect it to be the greatest thing since sliced cheese, or to do especially well. But I do expect the experience to be educational, like the last time I released a game on Steam.
Wish us luck.

Check it out to experience the unsurpassed joy of a sensible UI, less floaty physics, jump buffering and coyote time, and a special secret:

Hold down the backslash and press "o" to toggle from the 8-color Rainboy palette to the 40-ish-color Rainbow Rose palette! Not yet available on all screens.
Shoutout to @wraithind for the spooders pausing in their mad rush from point A to point B, and the aforementioned coyote time.
Got some lemons and some jellyfish up.

Sometimes not.

I usually manage to get ahead of the itch.io server outages, but alas, not this time. Still, game in. Jam Jammed. Cigars all around.
For all those out there not giving Uplink Defender a rating in humor, I would like to point out that the jellyfish sometimes wear hard hats.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.
