Mr. Twigs - It is possible to make no mistakes and still fail
Hi, folks! :blue_heart:
Though I've been working with game development for the past year, this was my very first game jam.
When discussing what 'inevitable' things were interesting for us to make a game about, we all kind of reverberated with Picard's popular quote - It is possible to make no mistakes and still fail. That is not weakness, that is life.

Though the message itself is a bit heavier (and complex) than our collective story-telling capacity was able to handle, we quickly concocted a tiny story centered around a recently orphaned girl and her newly found snowman friend, Mr. Twigs.

It was an interesting project to take on, since most of what I do has no actual planned story, only intent, and Mr. Twigs actually had its story panned out before we started coding.
It was also a pleasant surprise in that it required no "crunching": by relying on external assets for models and audio, we worked at a relaxed pace accross the three days - totalling around 28 hours of touch-time. I'm eager to repeat the experience.
