I joined Ludum Dare Jam and here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53 it says that you will be scored if you give enough feedback. This is my first time doing a game jam. Pls help.
I made this solo in just 2 days for a 3 day jam...... oh well.
Heres The Game OSHUMANIA: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/oshumania
Its about a drone which has to DELIVER Oshums to the collecting pads.
Play The Game in the browser no need to install anything. Had a blast perfecting the drone movement and the graphics and it turned out amazing, deninetely going to continue this project and add tons more levels and maybe even make it into a proper game.
Heres some pics:

P.S. Play the tutorial so many people were saying the drone controlers bad when they dont even know how to fly it.
My subbmission for this game jam has almost 20 ratings . I just need 6 more!
So I hope for as many people to play and rate my first game jam game :D. I really want to be scored on this game jam and I am so close just because of 14 legends who have rated my game so far!
The Games called Oshumania Heres the link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/oshumania
Another small thing,
Im pretty confused on the new "Smart" ordering system where, to encourage rating other games, you get "Coolness Points" for the more games you rate, and if you rate other games your game is placed higher up in the rating page.
However, i have rated many other games but I still have a very low, negative smart score. Heres a screenshot where it shows the smart score:

If anyone know whats happening please help me out.
Anyways thank you to anyone who is going to or has already rated my game, I really appreciate it .
P.S. I know and have tried to fix this problem where in the game any text is way to small to read because of the size restrictions that are in place when you upload a web imbedment in the Ludum Dare Website. I was going to upload a version with a bigger text size but I have unfortunately edited the original project already with some significant changes so I can not update or add an .exe version which will fix these issues without breaking game jam rules as the project has been changed significantly after the game jam ends. Sorry for any inconveniencies beforehand.
Heres a few in-game pics of my jam subbmission:

Now that the judging period had ended, does anyone know basic stats of the jam such as:
-How many people/teams competed in each format.
-How many games were submitted on time.
-How many games reached 20 ratings and were scored.
-Which games came top 5 in each category.
If anyone knows even a single one of these stats please post them in the comments section.
I am new to ludum dare so I don't know if @pov is going to post these stats.
I believe this info is extremely important for competitors to gauge how good their game has performed relative to other game jam submissions and also so that the top performing jam entries and their developers are greatly appreciated and are given the attention they deserved for all their hard work making such a good game in just 2 or 3 days all from scratch :).
Didn't vote for it, absolutely love the idea I already have, prooly not gonna make it tho lol. Too hard. Let's see how it goes.
Imagine working hundreds of hours into removing spammers and making the website extremely good, hosting a game jam, all while being sick. Then seeing once again that 80 percent of everyone who joins hated the theme they voted 💀
Everyone's making an end of day thing and now their going to sleep while I just woke up, had a shower, made some breakfast. And haven't even started on the jam as it was 9hrs 23mins ago it started on 11 pm as pov Hates Europe:D
Many people shame on people who keep showing thier works, people who make sure many people know about thier skills, games etc. but when there are hundreds of subbmissions, u NEED to let people know about your work, especially newer jammers dont do this, they make incredible games but forget to add tutorials a nice Ui and thumbnail, dont rate others and then wondor why an amazing game like thiers did so bad in the jam..
Thats why, Try out my gamee i made for my second lududm dare and second jam ever for that matter, heres the link :)
