It's a spur of the moment thing, but I'm in again for the first time since LD31.

I'll probably use Pico-8 as it's quick and dirty, and its graphics are better than anything that was available back when we had to outrun dinosaurs.

End of day one and I have a working game, Character Builder. If I had known that I'd be writing a text-heavy game that was a light-hearted study into the power dynamics in a family then I'd have dusted off my JavaScript skills, but Pico-8 has a charm all of its own.

It also works remarkably well on mobile.
