Question on which creation tools are allowed.
Thinking of entering the jam and was wondering what tools would be allowed in which section
Makehuman
Gimp/Paint.net
Blender
NeoTextureedit
Unity/Mechanim
Unity standard texture assets
Unity Basic Water asset
Unity Standard Skyboxes
Just wondering which of these tools would procluded in the Comp or Jam

Any tool is allowed in the compo, but canned content is not. Content generators are explicitly allowed in the compo, so makehuman and NeoTextureedit are ok. Gimp, Blender, etc, are tools. I’ve not used Mecanim yet, but reading the blurb it’s an animation tool that also has canned animations. The tool is OK, but for the compo the canned animations would be against the rules. The standard textures, water, and skyboxes are also content that should be off limits for the compo. Pretty much any content in the unity asset store would be off limits for the compo. Canned code seems allowable by the libraries clause so long as it doesn’t implement a specific game, though you probably want to declare what libraries (script assets) you’ve used.

I can’t see any of these being excluded from neither the jam nor the comp.

Thank you. Since I’m solo and cannot do without the Assets count me in for the Jam.
