Well, got a reasonably clear idea.. and some progress

I got to bed just as the theme for the LD was announced. So I had the night to let my sleeping brain mull it over. I decided to make a sort of soft procedural art style thing using Unreal (which I’m getting to grips with a bit right now). So most of today has been spent doing 3D art and/or messing with particles and materials. Tomorrow will see the core mechanic (which will become apparent if you watch the video and see the “ping”) emerge (or not) and hopefully give me a chance to try out some behavior tree stuff.

Also used DroneFX a procedural ambient music generator for the music today, but that was kind of automated :) luckily it fits well with what I wanted.
