In for a short game
Oke it’s probably not going to short but I should at least aim for that.
In the past Ludem Dares I have participated in my scope was always too big.
The idea I have now will probably be the same but I’m going to give it a shot anyway.
I’ll try to make this game quick and hacky since I’ve already spend a lot of optimization and perfectionism points on another project this week.
So…
About the theme:
I don’t really feel this is a very good one (for me).
Everything on one screens feels like any game but simpel enough that fits in one single view.
I’ll try to implement some funny stuff such as the menu being controlled by gameplay as well which I hope is not going to be super anoying.
Lets list up the stuff I’ll be using:
– Unity 4.6 – I’m going to do a 2D game.
– Photoshop for the (probably) pixel art stuff.
– Visual Studio 2010 with C#.
Past jams I haven’t really focused on audio but since I did during the “IndiesVSPewDiePie-challenge” from last month, I’ll force myself to start doing sound as soon as possible.
– I’ll be using that nifty little program SFXR for those.
Good luck to all and have fun!
