Zombie Hurdler by Inert_Krypton
You're a Zombie Hurdler. You found yourself at the track - laced up and ready to run - when the Zombie Apocalypse broke out. Sadly it's been a while since you ate and you need to find sustenance before you fall apart.
Your goal is to catch the non-existent humans that I didn't have time to implement, all while jumping over obstacles.

The making of:
Being a 3D artist I don't really know how to program. This was my first attempt at making a game in C#. Everything you see here was made in the 48+ hours of the game jam.
I approached this as a learning experience, teaching myself how to program. I had to use a tutorial to get started, but quickly ditched most of that code and built new systems from scratch.
Additional programming provided by Kimberly Koenig, who helped immensely when I would inevitably get stuck or program myself into a corner. I couldn't have done it without her.
This was a fantastic journey, and I may even continue to work on it as I still see some potential in this idea - I would love to make the hurdles procedural at the very least.
Graphics - 3ds Max
Engine - Unity
Audio - Voice Recorder
