Hello, this is a small Top down shooter I created for the Ludum Dare 38 Jam. I hope you have as much fun playing it, as I had developing it. The Game was created Using the Unity Engine, the models, textures and backgrounds were done in Blender. Best Regards Legion

I would suggest playing the game with a controller, the Gameplay is much smoother then.

Controls Keyboard: w a s d - are used for movement escape - restarts the game mouse button 1 - is used to fire mouse courser - is the fire direction

Controls Controller: Left Stick - is used for movement Rb - is used to fire Right Stick - is the fire direction

To the Game itself: Blue Pickups - refill the Shield Red Pickups - refill the Health-Bar Green Pickups- return a random Weapon Spawners - spawn enemies all 6 to 10 seconds in random patterns Buttons - Activate shield Generators around the enemy spawns, killing the first unlucky visitor instantly

Known Bugs and missing Features: -No Sound, sadly the time wasn’t there to make good use of sound design in this game. -Enemies getting stuck in Pickups(just shoot them) -Enemies continue to spawn after the player is defeated, I call that dedication to the craft :)

I totally like the visual style, it looks very retro/sci-fi.
The controls are a bit confusing, because down does not mean down, if you get what I mean :D I would change it, so when I press down, the player moves down and not down/right.
I think you could polish this game a bit and then it would be really good :) Good job anyways!

I tried it first with the keyboard but quickly plugged my gamepad and yeah you're right this is how the game should be played. The idea and realization is really clean and enjoyable. Thanks for that entry

Wow... What just happend? Those robot rape me so hard x)
Not easy to play! Confusing control, and many many shoot to avoid.
Nice work! It work perfectly fine

Good simple bullet-dodging shooter. I did get it down to the point where I was able to perpetually survive with tons of pickups littering the ground. Without the enemies getting stronger/faster/varied the sessions can go on and on. Overall a functional experience.

Movement relative to isometric grid, where down arrow makes player's character go 'down' on grid in fast paced game - now that's something that I don't see often. It hurt my brain a little. I spent more time going after pickups than on dodging bullets. Powerups are too powerful and enemies are not strong enough.
I think there also should be some kind of "You Lost The Game" message.
Game looks nice and reminds me of old, casual games with prerendered sprites - they looked just like that.
