Prisoner by Jacic
This was my first Ludum Dare. I'm happy I was able to finish a game in time! (This is Windows only right now. I may eventually port it.)
Try to escape from the prison.
Update: A new, improved version is out! (See above, source/everything included, POST-COMPO)

Nicely done.
The tutorial levels are really tedious and I felt my main incentive for finishing the game was to ensure I didn't play them again. I hope you respawn the player from the 90 second mark (I didn't check).
If there was one more gameplay element going on, say shooting some soldiers, it would've been much more captivating.
The audio hurts my ears.
Overall, it's fairly complete so that makes it a good 1st entry :). The post-compo version is fun, too.
Jedi: Thanks. I was thinking about adding (alive) soldiers, but I was running out of time. I might add it though.
