Prison Planet Trench Escape by Doddler
Prison Planet Trench Escape! Escape from the prison planet in a stolen ship while in hot persuit by the bladed THRESHER, the end of many would-be escapees. Avoid obstacles and shots from defense drones. Only the Thresher can destroy your craft, but any hits you take will slow you down. The game is a vertical scrolling game played with the arrow keys or WASD.

The game meets most all of the requirements for the main competition, but is entered into the Jam because I wanted to work with a partner. Actually, I'm not entirely sure if mixing software like the electro-house blender is specifically allowed by the rules. I think it is since the loops are legally usable, but I dunno!

What I didn't like was the positive feedback-loop that happens once you hit something. As soon as that happens, you get slower, you hit more stuff, the evil machine of doom comes closer, the screen gets smaller, and the difficulty ramps up, forcing you to play perfect right from the start.
