I like the drawings in the intro. The gameplay is straightforward and easy to grasp. I think it would have been nice to give the player a bit more room, because it gets pretty crammed with just a few enemies."},{"author_name":"Klare","author_uid":"2040","time":"Aug 22, 2011 @ 10:59pm","epoch":1314053640,"text":"Nice job getting your friend to help out, cause the art makes this game feel really polished. Escape from the prison planet in a stolen ship while in hot persuit by the bladed THRESHER, the end of many would-be escapees.  Avoid obstacles and shots from defense drones.  Only the Thresher can destroy your craft, but any hits you take will slow you down.  The game is a vertical scrolling game played with the arrow keys or WASD.\r\n\r\nEngine: Unity3D\r\nProgramming: C#\r\nModeling: Blender\r\nArt\/Textures: Paint.Net, Photoshop\r\nSound: Audacity, Bfxr\r\nMusic: Audacity, Otomata, (ClubCreate) Electro-House Blender\r\n\r\nThe game meets most all of the requirements for the main competition, but is entered into the Jam because I wanted to work with a partner.  Actually, I'm not entirely sure if mixing software like the electro-house blender is specifically allowed by the rules.  I think it is since the loops are legally usable, but I dunno!\r\n\r\nCredits: \r\nProgramming: Dan 'Doddler' McNeill\r\nArt: Mike Paulson<\/p>","title":"Prison Planet Trench Escape"}
