Stade 2 (Mr.Oizo) by 30dogs
A game about a song on some kind of tiny world..
1. Turn up your speakers/headphones!
2. Right click -> GoFullscreen recommended
3. Click to start, mouse to move (side-to-side and up/down)
4. Avoid deathtraps!
My first Ludum Dare! Not a complete game, but I plan to finish it (or at least flesh it out until the giant death robot's appearance at about 1:30 in the song >:)
*Update: Thanks for the incredible feedback. I've linked a page where I'll be uploading post-jam improvements. There are so many LD games for me to play and rate before I can make any major additions, but for starters you will no longer be able to lose by running into the presses sideways.

The Graphic is beautiful.I love Cell-Shading looks.
The Sounds are also good.
And the Game make fun.
I really had fun playing it, well done! :)
But was I doing anything? It seems like it would play for a few seconds and then fade out for no reason.
Audio = Great. Period.
Wished it had another controls/keyboard option. Mouse didn't feel so good for some reason (to me, at least). I can totally see this game at the XBOX or PSN Network! I would like to see it complete, had troubles with the first obstacles. And needed a visual aid to know what killed me, the fade didn't help. Keep up the great work! n_n
I could get through the pink zone but when you get to the blue zone it looks like there's a screw hazard you have to jump over. I tried a bunch of buttons but none would jump :(
Wish I could have played more of this to give it a better look but my meager skills couldn't really get me far at all. Looks great from the little I saw though!
Did you make other similar productions before that ? I 'd want to check them out !
Nevertheless, this is a pretty impressive entry.
Personally, I'd suggest that you ease the player in to the game more gradually. Warm them up with some easy obstacles which are spaced out. Some checkpoints would be good as I was slightly disappointed to not restart on the blue level after making it there.
Also, some kind of visual feedback as to what position the player is in would be useful, and you could consider adding keyboard controls where the player is fixed into, say, a left, central or right position depending on whether s/he presses left, nothing, or right. The mouse has an interesting feel to it, but there was some doubt over my position, e.g. I knew I had to move up, but had I moved up enough? Moving in more of a step than a curve should be possible with the mouse, it's just an idea to remove some of the confusion.
Anyway, good job!
Well done!
