Pixel Wars by Kalabasa

USE THE MOUSE!

First I tried a platformer where the player can shrink whatever he wants. It was the first time I used Flashpunk, so I got in trouble learning all of that. Also, there seems to be no scaling in Flashpunk, which is why my game concept did not become a game.

Then I decided to switch to this. Made in about 12 hours. D:

Hard to do because there's not much strategy involved. But I liked the destructive terrain.

Hey, I enjoyed that! I loved camping in the wings and then popping out to clean up the "leftovers." The digging mechanic really sealed the deal.

I really liked it. Not much more than click and hope, but the concept is all there.

Yes. Not much strategy, or gameplay. This was supposed to be RTS Worms.

The flaws are already pointed out by others - I really like the destructive terrain - awesome. This could be made into something more interesting! Btw. there's scaling in FP, only you scale graphics, not entities.

I thought I was the blue pixels at first. When I realized select and move... and I was Red... game cam quite enjoyable. Liked the burrowing, and the auto-shoot.
Some simple audio would have made a big difference.

I really like the destructive terrain idea. The graphics are simple but still nice looking. The game is a little too easy since you can just sit and wait until there are hardly any enemies and then kill them all. Maybe it would work better as a multiplayer game. Nice work!

nice game! Some more polish and this could be amazing fun. The game as is is still pretty great. Reminds me of starcraft, but teensy. Cool! :)

I really liked this one .. The enemy AI made it really interesting. I think with a bit more tweaking this could play really well, like some of the other folks said, the controls don't feel quite right yet. You might use drag-n-drop for one of the gestures? I do think flashpunk has scaling, but I'm not sure how. I also think having EVEN more pixels in the game would be better. Like wars with dozens or so instead of just 4-5. Cool stuff :)

Interesting concept. The controls weren't completely intuitive and I could never figure out how my pixels pick what they will shoot at.

But somehow there is a cool "alive" vibe to this.

Love the tunneling-mechanic. Feels very worms-y.

Nice concept, I want to see this expanded on with more depth and multiplayer.

YAY FUN.

Except I lose and go on to the next level anyway. So much for a succinct response to your succinct game. Good job.

No strategy needed, just sit back and let the other colors battle it out, then mop up what's left. I ignored the game for a level because my phone rang, and when I came back I had 3 or 4 of my guys still, and the only other survivor had one, and wasn't attacking me. Very nice work on the terrain, though.

Not much strategy required, but quit relaxing to watch the different teams fight it out. With a little work it could be fun, and the destructible terrain is a really neat feature.
