A simple medieval empire sim along the lines of "The Settlers".

The aim of the game is to balance wood, stone, grain and food production, ultimately to build a castle (costing 40 wood and stone) and to store up 40 food to be able to survive a siege (note, siege not shown in-game). If you ever run out of food, you lose.

Buildings:
Mason's: costs 3 stone, 1 wood. Produces stone from surrounding mountains, consumes food.
Woodcutter's: 3 stone, 1 wood. Produces wood from surrounding forests, consumes food.
Farm: 3 stone, 2 wood. Plants fields in surrounding empty space, produces grain.
Windmill: 5 stone, 3 wood. Consumes grain, produces food. Each produces enough food to feed a single mason or woodcutter.
Castle: 40 wood, 40 stone. Building a castle and amassing 40 food wins you the game.

Known bugs:
The windmill is missing its blades in the radial menu.
The radial menu is impossible to close without building something.

No sound, sorry.

Good concept, too much waiting, and very little understanding. Would have been nice to get a bit of visual feedback from the woodcutters and masons to know they were actually doing something, and something to do whilst waiting for food to build up. Had a bit of fun though.

Game reminds me of settlers. But it needs more help so player would know what is happening

Too slow, no real choices, no real strategical or tactical thought required. Which is quite unfortunate - I really wanted to like this one...

Basic mechanics are good, but there needs to be a "speed up" function for the stretches when I am just waiting for stone/wood or whatever. Also, the first time I put a farm down some big dark circles started appearing and it took me a minute to figure out they were crops. For a second I thought huge sinkholes were appearing in the ground.

Not bad. It could use some way of canceling actions or putting things on hold.

Don't build a castle too early : )

PsySal: Did you install .net 4 and XNA 4 like the instructions say?

Interesting concept, but there was a lot of waiting going on. It's got a nice Cataan-y feel to it, but it could use a lot of polish. Still, great job for 48 hours!

Really needs some work. Menu was annoying, wasn't sure what I was building.
