You have to eat prey, which in turn feed on red circles. They hide under black circles.
The AIs of the prey evolve through four or five stats.
To really see the evolution mechanism in action, set move speed to evolve on the menu screen and play a few rounds.
It's also interesting to set up various extreme conditions and see how they respond.

Quite rough around the edges, but a nice idea. Even though enemies evolving to escape a player with fixed attributes means that at some point, the levels become unbeatable :)
