Magnets, How Do They Work? by Lizzip

Objective:

Navigate the cube around the level. Smush all enemies with the cube and then head to the exit.

Player touches a wall. You lose.
Cube touches a wall. You lose.
Cube smushes the player. You lose.
Turret shoots the player. You lose.

I'm not even going to try and add a story around this. You're a 'jug-galo' with a magnet, in the desert, in an office, there's turrets in the office. I don't know.

Mouse Wheel: Zoom in/out
Mouse RMB + Drag: Pan camera

Space: Drop magnet
WASD/Arrows/ZQSD/,AOE: Movement

Pretty fun and interesting concept, fits well with the theme. Dying for colliding in the wall seemed pretty harsh though

Nice idea, a good puzzle-like challenge. I agree with the others though the wall-death is a bit harsh. :-)

Dying when you hit the walls does seem harsh but it actually makes this a proper challenge. Loved the humour :)

Great idea, great execution, clever game/level titles. :)
Frustrating wall deaths, but hexagore's probably right that it makes it a much better challenge. Still probably found them more frustrating than fun, though.

Nice idea, but why do I die when I hit a wall. Then it takes forever to get back to playing :/ could have been done better I thought.

LOL, had a blast playing it once I understood how to place the magnet. I wish I could smash walls as well, not sure yet why those are deadly. Other than that, it's a very good game you got there. Congratulations!

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll certainly be taking the 'die if you touch the wall' mechanic out for a post-jam version

Great idea I liked it. I failed to see the point about dying in the walls though, but apart from that I liked the game. It got fairly challenging as you moved on. Well done.

It would be nice with a way to pause the game and a way to return to the main menu without suiciding.
