And here's my explanation on it.\n\n**LD Entry**\nI did completed the compo entry few hours prior to the submission and published here. And after a short nap, I decided to continue development of this game. At that point the game was chewing up a lot of resources during runtime, so my priority was to fix the performance issue first. \n\nSo I've changed shaders and improved the water logic and models for better performance which led to the current visuals. Then I updated the LD build with new updates. That day a user @timeracers mentioned about adding the LD build for judgement along with the source code. So I did that and from that day onwards, the game page has links to WIP, LD Entry & Source code.\n\n**Post LD updates **\nEver since there were links for both builds, I received a lot of feedback from people testing both builds, all of the feedbacks were really a catalyst for further dev. So I kept working on my game, and with each updates\/bug fixes I made a post here mentioning it. But didn't pushed any major new additions\/features even to the latest build (Even till now). \n\nLike in the other post mentioning, I didn't tricked @occultone to play the post LD version. I did mentioned about the post LD updates in the request I sent to him. Most of the newly introduced things were buggy during the stream so I removed some of them after the stream. And I'm pretty much sure that RoboLand is not the only game had major post LD updates and streamers played it. So targeting my entry regrading this is not right.\n\n**To fellow devs **\nI'm sure some of you guys know the pain of taking a game from playable state to make it presentable and polishing it. For the past few weeks I have been pushing myself a lot. Fixing inherited bugs because of the bad design in the initial state is such an overwhelming task, especially when you're a one man army.\n\nPlease judge on my LD Jam version, but feel free to play and comment about the post LD version also. And I would love to hear and willing to improve things with any constructive criticism you may provide regarding the two builds. After putting a lot of hard work, getting called as cheater and\/or being targeted is kind of heart breaking and depressing. \n\nI hope you guys would understand. Thanks for reading.\n\nEDIT: Based on suggestions.\n","comments":13,"comments-timestamp":"2017-05-21T11:56:42Z","created":"2017-05-20T11:30:24Z","files":[],"files-timestamp":0,"id":31816,"love":3,"love-timestamp":"2017-05-20T14:31:43Z","meta":[],"modified":"2017-05-21T11:56:42Z","name":"RoboLand : Explaining my stand","node-timestamp":"2017-05-20T12:16:22Z","parent":22479,"parents":[1,5,9,9405,22479],"path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/roboland\/roboland-explaining-my-stand","published":"2017-05-20T11:30:55Z","scope":"public","slug":"roboland-explaining-my-stand","subsubtype":"","subtype":"","type":"post","version":85622},"node_metadata":{"n_key":"31816","n_urlkey":"307037","n_parent":"22479","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/roboland\/roboland-explaining-my-stand","n_slug":"roboland-explaining-my-stand","n_type":"post","n_subtype":"","n_subsubtype":"","n_author":"7891","n_created":"1495279824","n_modified":"1495367802","n_version":"85622","n_status":"WAYBACK"},"source_url":"https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/roboland\/roboland-explaining-my-stand","text":"Few hours ago, I came across a [blog post mentioning](https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/planet-or-die\/post-jam-releases-should-be-boldly-marked-as-such) I've violated\/cheated the rules.
