You can play For Eternity here.
Where is what?

As you can see on the screenshot above the screen is devided into 3 section.
Top Bar
On the bar on the top there are buttons on the left for going back to the main menu and for quiting the game. In the middle is an indicator for your money. The currency in this game is Deben short Db. On the right side is the date indicator.
Large Screen
This is the big game screen. Here you'll see your city and where you can build buildings to grow and expand you city.
Controls: - Move camera with W, S, A, D or the arrow keys or by moving the cursor to the edges of the screen - Zoom with mouse wheel
Right Bar
On top of the right bar are buttons for changing the game speed. Below that are to big buttons with them you can switch between to modes the build mode (left button "hammer") and the trade mode (right button "scales/balance").
Quality of lifeQuality of life (QoL) is a factor which indicates wether new settler will come to your city (QoL value higher than 1.0) or if citizens are leaving (QoL value lowerthan 1.0). This value is increased by houses, cisterns, markets, hospitals, temples and pyramids. Each citizen reduces this value. When population is getting bigger and bigger it's harder to increase this value.
Build modeThere are eleven building in this game.
(From left to right and top to bottom)
- road (citizen prefer to walk on roads, this is not a building so no additional info)
- house (each house provides a home for 5 new citizen)
- cistern (generates a bit of QoL, it produces more if it is placed on farmland)
- farm (produces food, needs to be placed on farmland)
- sawmill (produces wood, needs to be placed in the forest)
- quarry (produces stone)
- market (generates more QoL than cisterns)
- warehouse (produced goods come to this building and caravans are trading here)
- hospital (generates more QoL than markets)
- temple(generates much more QoL than hospitals)
- pyramid (generates much more QoL than temples)
- "X" (this is for destructing buildings)
Select a building and build it in the world by left clicking. Use the right mouse button for canceling building of that building.
Farmland and forestFarmland are the green tiles close to the water. Forest are tiles with trees on it. Farms need to be placed on farmland (more farmland tiles under the farm means higher max production rate). Sawmills must be surrounded by forest tiles (more forest tile around the sawmill means higher max production rate).
More infos about buildings and workersYou can click on each building to get more infos about that particular building. For example each building that provides jobs has an indicator at the bottom left side of the popup window. If such a building has no workers this building has an efficiency value of 0%. Keep this in mind! Unemployed citizen are distributed to the first building that is build, so it might be that you run into a problem when you build to many production buildings before you build buildings that are generating QoL, because this buildings might have a efficiency value of 0% and don't attract new settlers.
Trade mode and tradingIn the trade mode info screen you can see the current price for food, wood and stone. Here you can allow or disable trading with a specific good. Caravans are trading all goods for money if trading is allowed and the warehouse has this good in it's inventory.
