I should have been in a team, I was alone. I wanted to do a long game with a lot of narrative, I made a short and weird game that can be completed in 10 minutes. \n\nI was kind of disappointed with my game. I mean I did exactly what I had in mind, the game engine worked properly and the theme allowed me to experiment with a nightmarish world that loop on itself. But it didn't resulted in a fun game, at least fun in the way I imagined it. \nBut the feedback had been really nice so far ! I was really happy to see the nice comments I had on the site, Twitter and various website. I wish the game had more content, or better puzzle and mechanism, but it's a good first game !\n\n**What worked**\n- The game engine : I didn't experimented my javascript engine with a real game, and aside from problem of optimisation, it worked great. At least it didn't failed me.\n- Game mechanism : I know this is more an interactive adventure than a game, but I like the few game mechanism I put. I tought it will be unclear for players, or too simple, but it turned out great.\n\n**What didn't**\n- Graphisms : I'll never do hand drawings for a game, never. Drawing, take the picture with my phone, edit and resize, 70 times. We can see some pictures was more lazy than other...\n- Time management and global planification : When the theme was revealed, I kinda rushed the design step, I wanted to start the drawings as soon as possible. I didn't took the time to design better puzzles or funnier text. \n\nFor a first Ludum Dare, I really appreciated the experience and i'm stoked for the next one !
