First of all, this text is related to my Jam game \u201cSaviour\u201d and you can check it out here:\n\nhttps:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/saviour\t\n\n## Starting the Jam\nThis was my third LudumDare and I was looking forward to this event. I really liked the selected theme (I voted it with a +1) and as soon as I woke up on Saturday morning I started to think on the possible ideas for the game fitting that theme.\n\nThat was by far the worst moment for me as I didn\u2019t find a good (i.e. fun and enjoyable) idea for my game and I was about to not participate in this event. To solve this lack of ideas, I opened the Unity editor and placed a sphere in the middle of the game scene (I wanted the game to be related to a small planet, so\u2026 I think it was a good way to start) and after a couple of hours thinking and making some sketches on paper an idea came to my mind\u2026\n\n## Let\u2019s make an arcade shooter!\nI finally chose this game genre because it fits into the three requirements that I had for my Jam game, namely:\n* It\u2019s relatively easy to implement.\n* Allows the player to play multiple shorts games in order to improve it score.\n* It was fun!\n\nI managed to finish the core of the programming before going to sleep on Sunday and I left the remaining details for Monday afternoon (I had to work in the morning T_T). I'm really happy with the final result!\n\n## Differences between this jam and the previous LD\nFor me, the best thing of this LD is that I managed to organize correctly all the work and the time that I was going to take to do everything, from the starting sphere to the final game. Thanks to that I kept calm throughout the weekend (the previous LD were stressful for me due to my lack of experience), and that made me work in a more efficient way! :)\n\n## What do I expect from the next LD?\nAs I entered my three LDs as a one-man team\u2026 I want to find some people to collaborate and participate as a team!\n\n![saviour.png](\/\/\/raw\/a11\/z\/28a6.png)\n\nAnd that's all!
