This time I thought I’d go solo and see if I can manage a project on my own. I’ve mainly been programming, doing sounds and music, but I’m excited to try my hand at all the different aspects of video game design.

However…

I got loads of stuff to do, so I will wait until the last day to decide. We’ll see, but right now I feel like I could partecipate.

If I do, I’m thinking of doing everything in Processing! Processing is a cool environment for mainly visual applications, but it has some really simple sound functions too. A lot has to be done from scratch as far as I know, like collision checking and other stuff, but that’s entirely dependent on the game too. So:

Processing: Everything.

If not, I’ll probably use:

Unity 5: Game enginge

Reaper: Music and sound editing

Graphics? Don’t know 😀 Maybe Aseprite and Tiled, or just go programmatic with Vectrosity.

That’s it for this time. I hope to be able to partecipate and see you all here this weekend!

April 14th, 2016 2:18 pm
In for the compo !.. Maybe"}
