In particular, many features that would have been fun and thematic had to be cut at the end.<\/p>\n<p>This time, I want to end the compo feeling like I\u2019ve created my most polished and \u201cfinished\u201d entry yet. \u00a0I want to do this by using minimalistic graphics (but with plenty of finesse, polish, and extra effects to make the simple graphics feel intentional and well-executed) as well as a focused set of core features. \u00a0Basically, I\u2019d like to make something that feels as cohesive and complete as <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-29\/?action=preview&amp;uid=7862\" target=\"_blank\">my successful \u201cDrill18\u201d entry<\/a> \u00a0\u2014 though I\u2019m certainly aiming for fewer features and less complexity, because that thing was a beast and I still have NO idea how I pulled it off.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll most likely be using Unity again (not sure about 3d or 2d), though part of me is tempted to use JavaScript to make something that looks like an old-school text-based adventure.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>","time":"August 5th, 2015 10:36 pm","title":"I\u2019m in, and this time I want to aim for simplicity.","title_was_empty":false}
