A green arrow means my score was higher, a red arrow means my score was lower, and an \u2018X\u2019 means that I can\u2019t judge whether it was higher or lower. (Coolness isn\u2019t there because I couldn\u2019t find the ranking for my LD28 entry, messing the whole thing up.) Now the data represents the top percentage of games I was in during each compo, and is less affected by the number of games entered. So for overall is LD28, I was in the top 8.50%, or above 91.5% of other developers. To do this, I just divided the\u00a0 ranking my games had in each category by the number of games in each compo (ex. LD28 had 1283 compo entries, and my game was #51 for theme, so I did 51\/1283=3.98). I also made one for overall percentages, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"\/data\/posts\/2014\/09\/6932a1f64345fbe437e85e5b7e4eb8c0.png\"><img alt=\"ldpercentoverall\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-394228\" height=\"183\" sizes=\"(max-width: 336px) 100vw, 336px\" src=\"\/data\/posts\/2014\/09\/6932a1f64345fbe437e85e5b7e4eb8c0.png\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ldpercentoverall-300x163.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ldpercentoverall.png 336w\" width=\"336\"\/><\/a>Percentages (Overall)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 The strangest thing here is that my LD28 entry actually ended up being the better than my two other entries, except in humor. This is most likely because my LD29 game lacked a difficulty curve and much gameplay, and my LD30 game lacked\u2026 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-30\/?action=preview&amp;uid=30758\">well, a lot<\/a> (I\u2019m definitely never letting myself run out of time again).<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not really sure what else to talk about here, so if there\u2019s anything you want to know, ask away in the comments!
