And when I say how, I talk about <em>organization<\/em><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That was the key of all my failures, and that\u2019s why <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onegameamonth.com\/\"><strong>#1GAM<\/strong><\/a> was made for.<\/p>\n<p>So if you want to make your own games alone, and you\u2019re a totally\u00a0mess about making games <strong>done<\/strong>, it\u2019s a really good place\u00a0to start.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onegameamonth.com\/\"><strong>#1GAM<\/strong><\/a> uses the gamification to encourage you to focus on time constraint, and with less time, you must make smaller games, and smaller games means less gameplay. And that\u2019s here where it become interesting. You choose what\u2019s important, what\u2019s essential, what\u2019s impossible to make within time\u00a0and what\u2019s not worth to make.<\/p>\n<p>You work alone, but there\u2019s thousands of people making the jam for the same reasons. If you\u2019re bad at writing or designing, some people may look for coders like you, and if you\u2019re a good writer but\u00a0have bad dev skills, there\u2019s even more people\u00a0looking for you.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a unique experience I strongly recommend, you can only get out with even more experience in game development, and all organization aspects that comes with.<\/p>\n<p>Tags: <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/tag\/onegameamonth\/\" rel=\"tag\">OneGameAMonth<\/a><\/p>","time":"July 5th, 2014 4:22 am","title":"Entering the #1GAM","title_was_empty":false}
