I participated in LD26 and it ended up being my first commercially released game. In a little over 3 months, I was able to take a simple idea and build it into a finished product that works on Windows, Mac, Linux. I officially released the game today and although the game probably won\u2019t sell that great (It\u2019s a math based puzzle game, it\u2019s appeal is somewhat limited) I am really proud of it and learned a lot in the process. I don\u2019t know if what I make for LD27 will grow into that, but I\u2019m excited about the possibilities. Making games is fun!<\/p>\n<p>Stuff:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>C# + XNA<\/li>\n<li>Monogame for Mac+Linux<\/li>\n<li>JSIL for web version \u2013 This was really important for my LD26 game. As a result of having a web version, my game got played around 7,000 times. That would have never happened with a traditional download.<\/li>\n<li>GIMP for graphics<\/li>\n<li>pxTone for music<\/li>\n<li>sfxr for sound effects<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/joedev.net\/Downloads\/JoeDevGameLib.zip\">JoeDevGameLib<\/a> as my basecode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"\/data\/posts\/2013\/08\/6ed901d68a0e5cc8c2b39954702f1740.png\"><img alt=\"encodingLevel\" class=\"aligncenter\" height=\"348\" src=\"\/data\/posts\/2013\/08\/60a840982233f566602b5f3db433022e.png\" style=\"float: none;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" title=\"encodingLevel\" width=\"347\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/agameofnumbers.com\">A Game of Numbers: Get it now!!<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p align=\"center\">It\u2019s a clever math based puzzle game.
