If you like numbers as much as I do, than come and look at all my research results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The results of my research are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-caption alignright\" id=\"attachment_269898\" style=\"width: 217px\"><a href=\"\/data\/posts\/2013\/08\/d0aa45758ba595c3e6425eef7e23d886.png\"><img alt=\"Everything is better with excel\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-269898\" height=\"300\" src=\"\/data\/posts\/2013\/08\/678d40552ac928172f80d7d99dc4441e.png\" width=\"207\"\/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Have a look at this beautiful excel sheet<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Round 1 has been the best, atleast almost all top 20 themes are from round 1.<\/li>\n<li>The most votes on any theme are on \u201cYou must leave it behind\u201d with 2575 votes, meaning we can expect a slight rise in the number of participants from last LD (2346). The theme with the least votes has been \u201cDesperation\u201d with only 2338 votes (irony?).<\/li>\n<li>The most downvotes got \u201cProhibition\u201d with 1488. I guess this will never become a Ludum Dare theme.<\/li>\n<li>Two of the top themes are nearly identical \u201cParallel Worlds\u201d and \u201cMulti-layered world\u201d (or at least they sound identical to me) still \u201cParallel Worlds\u201d performed better because less people disliked it.<\/li>\n<li>As far as i can judge, and except \u201cEvil vs Evil\u201d which is very similar to \u201cYou are the villain\u201d from LD 25, there are only fresh \u201cnever seen before in a LD\u201d themes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Did you notice<del>\u00a0there are actually 21 themes in the final round instead of the announced 20? (Seems like PoV wants to keep \u201cDarkness\u201d in the final round) (Edit: my bad, there are really 20 themes in the final round, but \u201cContrast\u201d got replaced by \u201cDarkness\u201d, although having higher votes)<\/del> I\u2019m too stupid copying numbers from one screen to another? PoV is of course right, it was my mistake. (Data files have been updated)<\/li>\n<li>\u201cInfestation\u201d has exactly 666 upvotes. Coincidence?<\/li>\n<li>There are as many people hating \u201cDestruction\u201d as there are people hating \u201cImmortal\u201d (1167).<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBalance\u201d is the theme with the most Neutral votes (696).
