Hopefully not too much though! Of the two tests I\u2019m taking, I\u2019m all set on one and feeling pretty good about the other.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll be using C++ and SDL, along with SDL_Image and SDL_Mixer. This will all be new for me; in the past I\u2019ve used Python\/Pygame or AS3\/Flixel.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tools I will be using:<\/p>\n<p>DEVELOPMENT: All the good tools for the job<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px\">Code::Blocks IDE<\/span><\/li>\n<li>MinGW compiler<\/li>\n<li>Bacon-flavored ocarina<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ART: Either\/or, depending on what I end up making<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px\">Krita (for detailed graphics)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>GraphicsGale (for pixel art)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>MUSIC: This is more of a list of what I *might* use, if I even get around to it<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px\">Audacity<\/span><\/li>\n<li>SunVox (my favorite synth)<\/li>\n<li>sfxr (if I\u2019m in a pinch- this time I\u2019ve got SDL_Mixer working reliably)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I love doing LD, and this time I thought I\u2019d celebrate by making a background. heh.
