‘I’m In’ like your left foot in the Hokey Pokey
I was told I need to make an “I’m in” post.
~~~~Code~~~~
Python 2.7, using the pygame module (specifically 1.9.2).
(I’ll post how to get to that later)
~~~~Graphics~~~~
Probably mostly Photoshop, although on occasion when Photoshop irritates me, I use MS Paint and then make things transparent in Firework.
~~~~Music~~~~
I’ll probably either use FamiTracker, or Audacity with some ukulele-ing I can play or some other assorted baby-type instruments I have (from when I was like 4). But probably a mix of both.
~~~~Platform~~~~
I will be triple-wielding Windows XP, 7, and Ubuntu 12.04. Yes, I will literally be going back and forth between those. I’ll probably spend most graphic design and coding on the XP computer, 7 if I use FamiTracker, and Ubuntu if I use Audacity (which I promise you I will). I will do my best to make it both Windows and Ubuntu accessible, but I have no promises for anything else, simply because I cannot test it on anything else!
~~~~Disclaimers~~~~
Unlike everyone else it seems like, I am using NO pre-written code or libraries or special things or whatnot. I guess pygame kind of counts as a library, but it doesn’t seem to fit for some odd reason. It’s more of a module, I guess. Anywho, I want to do my best to make this from scratch, to the point where it’s almost like a personal challenge for myself.
I will do my best. It’s what a Boy Scout does. And in the nature of a Boy Scout, I will sit inside all day and look at a computer screen.
</irony>
~~~~EDIT~~~~
I apologize. Pygame is naught more than a library wrapper thing. I am sorry. I have lied and shall be publicly executed.
