Get ready, LDers! July\u2019s MiniLD\u00a0<\/strong> is approaching!<\/p>\n

I hope you guys aren\u2019t tired from McFunkypants<\/strong>\u2018\u00a0awesome MiniLD #27. It was a really astonishing\u00a0edition: there was thirty<\/em> great entries! That was impressive. Congratulations to all of you, and special thanks for McFunkypants, who did a splending job organizing it! *thumbs up*<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, the Ludum Dare #21 is coming next month, so I\u2019ll give you guys a relaxing time to tune\u00a0your programming skills and exercise your game design. The Mini LD #28<\/strong> will officially start on Friday,\u00a0July 30th<\/strong> at midnight GMT (that\u2019s July 29th 7:00 PM EST). But to make sure everyone can join the fun and got enough time to work on your submissions, I\u2019ll reveal the theme on July 23rd<\/strong>, also at midnight GMT. You can start once the theme is revealed if you want to, no pressure. Just have fun!<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a newcomer and isn\u2019t sure how to get started, try visiting the\u00a0Tools<\/a>\u00a0page to get ready, and read the Sol\u2019s LD Survival Guide<\/a>. Also, \u00a0come chat with us on the\u00a0#ludumdare IRC<\/a>. Feel free to ask there for help if you\u2019re confused.<\/p>\n

As always, everyone<\/strong> is welcome to join! All platforms, programming languages and engines are accepted. You\u2019re highly<\/em> encouraged to share your source code, but this isn\u2019t a requirement. I won\u2019t be picky about assets either, as long as you have the rights to use it.<\/p>\n
