It got random levels, random enemies, random quests (well, a little bit random!), random items, random player names, and random events. I guess it could have been even more random, but time was a limiting factor.<\/p>\n<p>As for the actual gameplay, it\u2019s fairly simple step based dungeon crawling. And a \u2018town\u2019 screen where you can shop and select dungeons. It felt pretty solid, but there were a lot of balancing issues that you\u2019d notice once you reached some higher levels.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/data\/posts\/2007\/11\/1c3c8951bee5b59e17a667d308db6481.png\" title=\"shot9.png\"><img alt=\"shot9.png\" src=\"\/data\/posts\/2007\/11\/8627ae77d5f9b93e6af8e8b16e05ab09.png\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The game was well received, placing second in the \u2018Fun\u2019 and \u2018Production\u2019 categories, and also getting the \u2018Best In Show\u2019 UBER prize.<\/p>\n<p>You can get the <a href=\"http:\/\/jolle.se\/48h\/jolle-rde-post48.zip\">slightly improved post compo version<\/a>, or the <a href=\"http:\/\/jolle.se\/48h\/48h-jolle-rde.zip\">compo version<\/a>.
