I have come across Ludum Dare via the LibClan website. \u00a0It looks like an interesting concept and hell I’ve decided to give it a try. \u00a0Especially since it looks like there are no other Africans and that is just wrong.<\/p>\n

I am still very new to this though and I have a lot to learn to be ready for the August competition. \u00a0For instance I am not even sure whether a blog post like this is alright. \u00a0Well I guess it’s trial and error from here.<\/p>\n

Things are still a bit confusing and I haven’t figured out yet on which day the competition starts in August. \u00a0In the meantime though it’s all about getting ready. \u00a0Such as getting my toolset ready and knowing it well. \u00a0Especially ClanLib. \u00a0It’s a great library but I have only started working with it about a week ago and I will have to know it well come competition time. \u00a0As for a graphics toolset and something to create music with, well I’ll still have to decide on that.<\/p>\n

It’s exciting though and I’ll try and keep this blog updated as to how things are going and which tools I’ve decided upon and why.<\/p>\n \n
