{"author_name":"Six","cat":"LD #17 - Islands - 2010","comments":[],"epoch":1272066300,"likes":1,"metadata":{"p_key":"71392","p_author":"Six","p_authorkey":"1190","p_urlkey":"107213","p_title":"The Fishing Mini-Game Challenge!","p_cat":"LD #17 - Islands - 2010","p_event":"LD17","p_time":"1272066300","p_likes":"1","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"1190","us_name":"Six","us_username":"six","event_start":"1271980800","event_key":"3","event_name":"LD17"},"text":"<p>So Fishing didn&#8217;t make it.\u00a0 However, that does not mean it is dead!\u00a0 The original idea that spawned Fishing to be added to the themes list was the amusing idea of having a fishing mini-game in another game, so that is my challenge to you!\u00a0 No matter how mini, or how small, try to put a fishing mini-game in your game.<\/p>\n <p>If you&#8217;re thinking making one game is hard enough, here&#8217;s simple fishing game logic for you (which I&#8217;ll probably use):<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>3 sprite image &#8211; one with pole normal, one with pole being tugged, one with fish pulled up<\/li>\n <li>choose random time to have pole pulled down for 0.5 sec and change sprite<\/li>\n <li>check for some key press, if pressed while pole is down change to fish pulled up sprite for some 1 sec<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Fishing For Life!<\/p>","time":"April 23rd, 2010 6:45 pm","title":"The Fishing Mini-Game Challenge!"}
