I took some time to craft the basic structure of the game in a neatly componentized fashion, but I&#8217;m sitting right on the threshold of having a screenshottable game showing colored boxes, one of which will be able to move and collide. I just need to do some integration work to load the map file and propagate input. Once I have that, adding more actors and rules will be a snap, so I&#8217;ll have real gameplay in just a few more hours of work.<\/p>\n <p>Now I will take a nice long break to eat dinner and see the Goonies, which is playing at midnight at the Del Mar.
