{"author_name":"moltanem2000","cat":"LD #17 - Islands - 2010","comments":[],"epoch":1272087000,"likes":0,"metadata":{"p_key":"71276","p_author":"moltanem2000","p_authorkey":"1548","p_urlkey":"107097","p_title":"End of Day 1: Island World","p_cat":"LD #17 - Islands - 2010","p_event":"LD17","p_time":"1272087000","p_likes":"0","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"1548","us_name":"moltanem2000","us_username":"mortar","event_start":"1271980800","event_key":"3","event_name":"LD17"},"text":"<p>Well it&#8217;s technically day 2 right now, so i&#8217;m off for some sleeps! but before that, how about an update?<\/p>\n <p><img class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-17003\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/LD17_four.png\" alt=\"LD17_four\" width=\"638\" height=\"479\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/LD17_four-300x225.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/LD17_four-550x412.png 550w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/LD17_four.png 638w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 638px) 100vw, 638px\" \/><\/p>\n <p>so as you can see there&#8217;s one major update; that little green guy, you spawn in a little house on a fairly desolate island. to the left are two more islands with different resources (you can swim between islands). you&#8217;ll also notice I got rid of beginning resources, and those extra little slots will be for items (ex: you need this item to mine stone, chop wood, etc.) I also added stone. you also can&#8217;t destroy blocks that are too far away from the character (64px to be exact) there&#8217;s a bug with that but I&#8217;ll fix it tomorrow. That&#8217;s about it \ud83d\ude1b also, I&#8217;ve uploaded the current version to media-fire, so feel free to check it out my progress here:<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/?y2nndenddht\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/?y2nndenddht<\/a><\/p>\n <p>Plans for tomorrow:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Stamina so getting to far away islands is harder<\/li>\n <li>fix odd bug with destroying blocks<\/li>\n <li>add 5 more tiles<\/li>\n <li>add items<\/li>\n <li>add a way to make items with your resources<\/li>\n <li>more islands<\/li>\n <li>a point to the game (a way to win?)<\/li>\n <li>day+night<\/li>\n <li>enemies of some sort<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Good luck and Good night!<\/p>","time":"April 24th, 2010 12:30 am","title":"End of Day 1: Island World"}
