Not a year has passed since my last declaration of intent to take up the Ludum Dare, yet I have learned so much?

After identifying faults in my work ethic, I declare myself in once again, with the following:

• Language: C++ (DirectX 9)
• Compiler: Visual Studio 2010
• Box2D
• Notepad++

Weather permitting I would like to take photographs for my primary visuals (although I fear this may be too ambitious).
