I had an &#8216;interesting&#8217; idea, but it is probably either too technical to ever become anything more than a toy. What I did was spend all day writing proof-of-concept code and a shitty editor to do what I wanted.<\/p>\n <p>Then I thought, hang on, let&#8217;s see if anyone else has done a roguelike using subpixel rendering, and I see that none other than Terry goddamn Cavanagh had <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.tigsource.com\/index.php?topic=1543.0\" target=\"_blank\">suggested<\/a> it in back in 2008, and there is a really awesome library for Roguelikes called <a href=\"http:\/\/doryen.eptalys.net\/libtcod\/\" target=\"_blank\">libtcod<\/a> which I don&#8217;t have time left to learn.<\/p>\n <p>So now I am going to take a nap, maybe gonna get something to eat, and reconsider my future.<\/p>","time":"April 21st, 2012 9:08 am","title":"No progress, still not sure if I know what I want to do"}
