Here&#8217;s my tips:<\/p>\n <p><strong>Pro-Tip for first timers:<br \/>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Buy\/read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/2012\/04\/08\/the-game-jam-survival-guide\/\">game jam survival guide<\/a><\/li>\n <li>Prepare &#8211; read people&#8217;s tips and suggestions, like you&#8217;re doing now \u00a0\ud83d\ude00<\/li>\n <li>Stick to what you know \/\u00a0If you want to use anything new practice it now.<\/li>\n <li>Get in the community: Get on the IRC\/test peoples game\/get people to test your games. I actually probably had the most doing this \u00a0\ud83d\ude00 (also don&#8217;t worry if you don&#8217;t think your game is as good as other peoples, not every game be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-23\/?action=rate&amp;uid=3289\">ANT SURF HERO<\/a>)<\/li>\n <li>Everyone is a winner!
