{"author_name":"bleh","cat":"LD #24","comments":[],"epoch":1345742340,"likes":1,"metadata":{"p_key":"54894","p_author":"bleh","p_authorkey":"505793","p_urlkey":"90608","p_title":"I\u2019m In, Hosting, and Hoping\u2026","p_cat":"LD #24","p_event":"LD24","p_time":"1345742340","p_likes":"1","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"505793","us_name":"bleh","us_username":"bleh","event_start":"1345766400","event_key":"12","event_name":"LD24"},"text":"<p>I am in the Ludum Dare for my second time&#8230; \u00a0Kinda. \u00a0last time the directory holding all my code and assets was corrupted and now I can no longer have a folder of the name &#8220;LD23 project&#8221; in the same location. \u00a0I learned how to use git the next day. \u00a0 I am hoping this doesn&#8217;t happen again.<\/p>\n <p>I am coding everything in Java as\u00a0purely\u00a0as I can and designing my\u00a0sprites\u00a0to be extra pixelated. \u00a0If your wondering the inspiration did indeed come from Notch and Minecraft. \u00a0I have no idea what style I am choosing for audio stuff yet.<\/p>\n <p>I am also hosting the event over at the Hacker Dojo in Mountain View, California, USA. \u00a0The event page is here: <a href=\"http:\/\/events.hackerdojo.com\/event\/1624001-ludum-dare-meetup\">CLICK_ME<\/a>. \u00a0My only hope is I don&#8217;t go over the max people I can have in the building for the event. \u00a0Which would be bad&#8230;<\/p>\n <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n <p>Programs I am using:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Sprites will be done in Paint.NET<\/li>\n <li>Audio will be done through Audacity<\/li>\n <li>My IDE of choice is Eclipse<\/li>\n <li>The Language I am using is Java<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Thats it for now, I hope to see alot of good game out of this compo!<\/p>","time":"August 23rd, 2012 12:19 pm","title":"I\u2019m In, Hosting, and Hoping\u2026"}
