{"author_name":"schnerble","cat":"LD #25","comments":[],"epoch":1356892680,"likes":2,"metadata":{"p_key":"47349","p_author":"schnerble","p_authorkey":"11560","p_urlkey":"83012","p_title":"Post-Mortem \/ Timing Breakdown","p_cat":"LD #25","p_event":"LD25","p_time":"1356892680","p_likes":"2","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"11560","us_name":"schnerble","us_username":"schnerble","event_start":"1355443200","event_key":"14","event_name":"LD25"},"text":"<p>Hi everyone!<\/p>\n <p>I thought I&#8217;d write a bit of a post-mortem for my game, <a title=\"Thievery\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-25\/?action=preview&amp;uid=11560\" target=\"_blank\">Thievery<\/a>, but in doing so decided on something a bit different. \u00a0From my git logs for the game, I have a reasonable record of what happened when (and can take a fair guess at the rest), and thought I&#8217;d post it to see if it&#8217;s of interest. \u00a0The stats at the end were interesting for me (:<\/p>\n <p>My game is about helping a thief sneak around and steal gold from houses and pickpocket guards, while avoiding capture by the guards and guard dogs. \u00a0Note that the times listed below include a fair bit of time spent on &#8220;art&#8221; &#8211; it was definitely programmer art, so nothing too impressive, but it still took time (:<\/p>\n <p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Saturday December 15<\/span><\/p>\n <pre>02:00 Theme announced; I'd decided to sleep through and find out in the morning\n 08:00 Woke up; started getting ready and brainstorming at the same time\n 08:30 Started work on Thievery\n 09:08 Got a basic loop running, with newly-created background and placeholder player sprite\n 10:15 Added player movement\n 12:53 Added dagger shooting, after spend ages on sprite rotation\n 13:18 Finished lunch\n 14:13 Put guard &amp;
