We’re in!

Hi Ludum Darers!
Call us crazy, but a colleague and I are setting up shop for the weekend with about 12 of our game development students. It’s the first time for all involved and should be good fun!
It’ll be the first game most of them have ever made, so I think many of them are opting for the Jam. Possible tools include:

  • Flash Pro/Builder/Develop
  • Unity
  • Java
  • Photoshop/Illustrator/Fireworks/Inkscape/Paint
  • Garageband/Bfxr

Any tips for first-timers would be much appreciated :). Sleeping bags and energy drinks at the ready!

Try to know what you’re going to make ASAP. Trust me, it helps a lot. I actually failed my last dare because I wasn’t sure about this or that with only ~28 hours left on the clock.

a good tip is to prepare and read plenty of the “what to do in a game jam” things that are around.
